Comedian Kathy Griffin Marries Boyfriend Randy Bick Moments After Announcing Engagement

Kathy Griffin had quite the start to 2020. The comedian revealed on New Year’s Eve that she’s engaged to longtime boyfriend Randy Bick… and that the two were getting married that night.

“Happy new year and, surprise, we’re getting married!” the couple announced in unison in Griffin’s video. “Tonight, after midnight!” Griffin was all prepared for her nuptials to Bick while clad in a silver sequin dress featuring a black silk ribbon. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Griffin said the wedding ceremony’s timing was “just under 14 minutes.” The pair found a rather famous celebrity to officiate the nuptials: Lily Tomlin.

“What was supposed to be a shallow, ‘toot it and boot it’ one-night stand has grown and flourished into something far more meaningful,” Tomlin joked as the officiant. “They stayed together. Then they couldn’t stay away from one another.”

This is Griffin’s second marriage. She was previously married to Matt Moline from 2001 to 2006.
