Cole Sprouse is Reportedly the One Who Initiated His Alleged Breakup with Lili Reinhart
Every day following the alleged break up of Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse seems to bring with it more news as to what reportedly caused the split. Of course, there was the bickering at Comic-Con, which was obvious to anyone who took the time to check out the videos from the event, and then just the fact that the two apparently have very different personalities and clashing lifestyles. According to E! News, though, the decision to end things was ultimately made by Cole Sprouse.
And it wasn't a impulsive one. A source told E! that Lili and Cole's relationship was "always up and down." Apparently, their most recent split occurred "after an argument while on their break from filming," and for Cole, that was enough, so he "decided to end the relationship."
But that doesn't mean things are completely over. It seems obvious to those close to them that reconciliation is "inevitable," and their role as a couple on Riverdale will aid in it. "Now that filming is happening again, it is very likely they will mend the relationship and get back together," the source said. "They spend A LOT of time together on set."
The ex-couple reportedly still has "a lot of chemistry" and, of course, they still "truly care about each other."
And if it helps, E! is reporting that the Riverdale cast is "rooting for Cole and Lili," but that might have to do with the fact that the breakup is probably making things super awkward on set.
"The cast all try and make light of the situation with jokes on set," the source said. "It is a very close-knit family and so they try and brush their issues under the rug because they have to spend a lot of time together." But I don't think they have too much to worry about because it seems like no matter what happens between Cole and Lili, whether they get back together or not, "they will all still be friends."
