Colbert shreds Kanye over support for Trump

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert roasted Kanye West after he took to Twitter to voice his support for Donald Trump. On Wednesday morning West posted several tweets about the President, even at referring to him as his "brother." In response to West's tweet of saying, "...I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought." Colbert replied, "Yes, we have the right to independent thought, and I independently think he has lost his mind." While West's Trump tweets were met with mixed reactions, there was one very stable genius, chock-full of dragon energy, who was a fan. President Trump retweeted West's post, saying, "Thank you, Kanye. Very cool!" Considering a West is a mega star with diamonds for teeth, Colbert had no choice but to tip his hat to Trump for the endorsement. He said, "Congratulations to President Donald Trump on securing the coveted Kanye endorsement. Not easy to get. Right now, it's just you and 'Bill Cosby innocent!!!!!!!!!!'" Colbert was referring to West's tweet endorsing Cosby after nearly 50 women accused him of rape. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 on CBS.
