Carrie Underwood proved last night that she's still the Queen of the CMT Awards.

The 38-year-old singer made history again after she and John Legend won Video of the Year for their song Hallelujah. This was John's first CMT win, while Carrie has won over 20. Last night marked her ninth Video of the Year award, which she has won three years in a row — wow!

During her acceptance speech, Carrie was quick to thank all the fans who voted and praised John, who wrote the song and collaborated with her. "John legend, thank you for sending me this incredible song and agreeing to sing with me on it and making this incredible video that I am so proud of, and congratulations on what I think is your first CMT Award," she said.

In response, John took to Twitter and gave a shout out to his co-writer, Toby Gad, the director of the video, Randee St Nicholas, and, of course Carrie. "THANK YOU SO MUCH! My first @CMT! Thank you @carrieunderwood, our director Randee St Nicholas and all of you who loved it and voted!

After posting on Instagram about her win, Carrie's fans flooded her comments section to let her know just how much she deserved this honor. "Greatest country artist of all time," one person wrote. "So proud of you always! Makes voting for weeks worth it," said another. While others bombarded the section with heart and crown emojis.

Other big winners from last night include: Gabby Barrett for Female Video of the Year, Taylor Swift for Best Family Feature, and Kelsea Ballerini and Halsey for CMT Performance of the Year.

Congrats all around!
