Clint Eastwood's tough-love advice for son Scott
Scott Eastwood is the son of Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood. While on Running Wild with Bear Grylls, Scott provided some insight into what it was like to be raised by Dirty Harry.
Clint Eastwood is known for playing some of the toughest hombres on the silver screen, and Scott revealed that he was also a tough dad: “There was no room for any flimflam.”
The advice his dad often gave him was, “Toughen up, princess,” Scott said. “He didn’t want to hear any bitching.”
Scott said that his dad’s counsel, such as, “When you want to quit, you got to just suck it up,” helped him get through various challenges.
Despite being raised with tough love, Scott said, “My dad was my hero and still is my hero. … He inspires me every day.”
