Clemson basketball score vs. NC State Wolfpack: Live updates

Clemson basketball rebounded in a big way on Saturday, blitzing Syracuse by 18 points to improve to 14-1 at Littlejohn Coliseum this season.

Now the Tigers must take their show on the road, and the conditions won’t be favorable, beginning Saturday at NC State’s PNC Arena, where the Wolfpack are 15-1 this season.

“It’s loud,” Clemson Coach Brad Brownell said. “And when they make a basket, it gets even louder. They’re not very nice to you; they say mean things.”

With three games left for Clemson (20-8, 12-5 ACC) in the regular season and two games remaining for NC State (22-7, 12-6), Saturday’s game (noon, Bally Sports) is critical for both teams, which are jockeying for position in the ACC standings and hoping to enhance postseason resumes.

Clemson enters the game alone in fourth place, with NC State trailing by half a game. The top four teams in the standings receive a bye for the first two rounds of the upcoming ACC Tournament.

In the first meeting between the teams this season on Dec. 30, graduate forward Hunter Tyson had career highs in points (31) and rebounds (15) as Clemson won, 78-64. Check back for live updates throughout the game.
