This Clear 215-Piece Puzzle Looks Like Shattered Glass and It's So Tricky

Imagine breaking a glass window or mirror and having to put it back together piece-by-piece. Well, if you're looking to seriously up your puzzle game, that's essentially the concept of this puzzle.

Fittingly called The Accident, the puzzle comprises 215 pieces of clear, 3-millimeter cast acrylic. Each piece has an atypical puzzle shape with different lines, angles, and connections that were designed by hand. The finished piece is about 23 inches by 21 inches. The pieces on the edges of the puzzle are are larger and easier to put together, then get smaller as you work your way in towards where the glass was hypothetically hit. The puzzle is available to order at yelldesign for $64.08 (tax is included).

Yelldesign makes other clear puzzles like one called The Fish Tank and another called The Virus—though both seem much easier than the shattered glass puzzle. The puzzle pieces are more commonly shaped, but each puzzle includes one different piece that's either a fish or green glob. The 160-piece, fish-themed puzzle costs $51.01, and the 91-piece, virus-themed puzzle costs $37.93. Those puzzles might be fun to start out with if you prefer to work your way up to the proficient, shattered glass level of puzzling.
