Clare Crawley Might Be Recast on ‘The Bachelorette’

  • Clare Crawley might be recast on The Bachelorette.

  • Rumors are circling that Clare star might have been fired from the show.

Bachelor Nation is all about making history these days. First, it was casting Matt James as the first Black Bachelor and now it might be re-casting Clare Crawley on The Bachelorette. Reality Steve recently tweeted a Reddit theory revealing some pretty shocking news.

“I’ve been made aware of this Reddit post making the rounds. Been on the phone for the last 2 hrs digging,” he wrote. “I cannot confirm with 100% certainty if it’s true yet, but if you ask my opinion, I think there is some serious validity to it based on what I’m hearing now.”

Okay, so this news isn’t confirmed at all, but it’s still super juicy. According to the Reddit thread posted on July 31, Clare has been making production difficult and therefore might be replaced with another Bachelor fan favorite.

“On Monday, I got some messages saying that production is having a lot of problems with Clare during filming. Among other things, she canceled everything that was supposed to happen that Saturday before, and they called in a new Bachelorette,” the thread stated. “They are re-casting her with Tayshia. Tayshia is already quarantining at the hotel and they should be taking her phone on Friday (today). The plan is for her to call back some guys that have already been eliminated.”

Fans will remember Tayshia Adams as one of the final two contestants on Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor, and later Bachelor in Paradise. Before the show revealed their pick for The Bachelorette, Tayshia's name was in the mix.

“I have to say, anything that comes my way, I am ready for,” she told Entertainment Tonight, addressing the rumors. “I am ready for love! I am officially ready to date.”

There’s no denying that Tayshia would make an incredible Bachelorette—even members of Bachelor Nation think so. “I don’t think anybody has met Tayshia and been like, ‘Eh, she’s mediocre,’” Ashley Iaconetti told Life & Style. Her husband, Jared Haibon agreed, saying, “Tayshia is a really good pick.”

The thing is, Clare has already began filming. So that means she’d have to say goodbye to the guys she’s dating. Maybe one of them would leave to be with her... Now that would make a good love story.
