  • Clare Crawley encouraged new guys to apply to be on The Bachelorette.

  • Her season is currently postponed indefinitely amid coronavirus concerns.

  • Clare’s contestants have already been cast and announced.

While Warner Bros. and Chris Harrison confirmed that The Bachelorette filming has been postponed indefinitely amid the coronavirus pandemic, Clare Crawley is out here encouraging new guys to apply for her season. (Mind you, Clare’s contestants have already been cast and announced, so this is really awkward.)

Toward the end of Peter Weber’s season, ABC announced Clare, 38, would be the next lead of the franchise. Of course, people can date whoever they want, but there were definitely many fair critiques about how many 20 year olds ABC cast for Clare. They even cast someone as young as 23 years old! And there was only one guy over 40 in the lineup.

And it seems like Clare feels the same way because during an Instagram Live Q&A, she said, “I feel like since we have a break in the show right now, I don’t think it’s too late to submit people. So, submit them, why not? What’s the worst that could happen?”

Clare also reposted friend (and former Bachelor contestant) Michelle Money’s Instagram Story that called on Chris Harrison and the Bachelorette producers to put a little more thought into casting Clare’s season and to find her a “manly man.” Michelle also said she wants to see Clare “married and pregnant” by this time next year. Not saying Clare agrees with everything her friend Michelle said, but the way she reposted it after asking for more guys to apply is pretty telling.

Somewhere out there, her ex Juan Pablo, who shaded her entire season earlier this week, is probably gloating and drafting another tweet about his take on Clare’s contestants.
