Clare Crawley Breaks Her Silence on Her Breakup With Dale Moss in Devastated Statement

Clare Crawley hit up Instagram to make a statement about her and Dale Moss' breakup.
She revealed she didn't actually know about Dale's breakup statement until it hit social media. 😬
As shocking as it is that Clare Crawley and Dale Moss split so soon after their engagement, it's even more shocking how quickly their breakup is getting messy. Sources told E! News that their breakup happened because Dale was "not ready for marriage and was not ready to move to Sacramento for Clare. They were making a lot of plans that Dale could not commit to," which...fair, considering they've only known each other for six months.
Dale later released a (seemingly) joint statement about his and Clare's split to Instagram and wrote:
"I wanted to share with you all that Clare and I have decided to go our separate ways. We appreciate the love and support we’ve received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at this time.
We strongly believe in leading with love and always remaining true to oneself - something our families have taught and instilled in us throughout our lives. We only hope the best things for one another.
Please respect our privacy as we work through this together. - DM"
Tons of "we" language in there, right? Welp, Dale didn't consult Clare about his statement at all—in a Instagram statement of her own, Clare shared that she learned of Dale's "mutual" breakup statement when everyone else did...aka when Dale posted it on social media.
Clare wrote:
"I was made aware of a "mutual" statement at the same time you all were, so I've needed some time to really digest this. Speaking for myself, my intentions with this relationship have always been very clear, so the truth is that I am crushed.
This was not what I expected or hoped for and am still trying to process this. 2020 was one hell of a year, with COVID[-19], battling anxiety post-show, balancing a public new relationship, all while slowly losing my mother. It hasn't been ideal circumstances, but that is life right. i have been looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel.
Our relationship was not perfect, but I can say that I was genuinely invested with all of my heat. i may not have all the answers, but I do know this—I will continue to show up, stand by my word, and be committed to love."
In the meantime, Clare is reportedly "trying to focus on herself right now but is completely devastated," according to an E! News source, who added that Dale is the one who "broke it off."
Now only one question remains—will they end up on the same season of Bachelor in Paradise? Knowing how shady ABC's producers are, I wouldn't rule it out.
