Ciara’s First Pair of Heels Were From Nine West…and Now She’s Working with the Brand
Before Ciara had taken major (one, two) steps toward her decades-long career, she was just a girl with a fondness for heels. (Aren’t we all?) In fact, the 33-year-old Grammy nominee remembers her first pair of good pumps vividly. Now, she just so happens to be working with the brand who made them.
Today, Ciara announced that she’s partnering with Kohl’s to launch their brand-new Nine West collection. As she revealed in a statement about her new endeavor, the brand holds a special place in her story.
“I’m so excited to be a part of the Nine West at Kohl’s brand launch,” Ciara explained. “Not only is the brand iconic, but it holds a special place in my heart. One of my first pairs of heels was Nine West, so launching the brand at Kohl’s is a full circle moment for me!” We’d say.
The “Goodies” singer went on to dish on her favorite, well, “goodies” from the collection. “I really like the [Etta] chrome heels ($55), they are the perfect combination of femininity and edgy.”
She went on to say that her go-to look of the season is a bold play on the suit, which she models beautifully in the Instagram photo above. “I’m definitely into the colored power suit [the blazer is $43 and the trousers are $31) right now, the bright monochromatic blazer and pant is my favorite look in the collection hands down. I also really love the timeless animal prints and bold stripes looks.”
