Ciara Celebrates Mom's Birthday With Adorable Childhood Family Photos
Ciara is celebrating her mom Jackie's birthday with adorable throwback pictures.
The "1, 2 Step" singer took to Instagram to commemorate her mom's big day with two photos of the mother-daughter duo.
One is a portrait taken of Ciara as a child with Jackie, posing while all dolled up in dresses. Another shows a teenage Ciara with her mother wearing matching outfits. Ciara opted for a cropped, short-sleeve version of their pink shirt, while Jackie went for a sleeveless one. The singer also added a photo of Jackie in her Air Force uniform at the end of the carousel, celebrating her mother's accomplishments on her big day.
Ciara captioned the post, "Happy birthday Mama! I’m so grateful for you! I love you so much ❤️."
Her fans shared plenty of birthday wishes for Jackie in the comments, and a few couldn't help but point out the family members' similarities.
"Happy Birthday Momma Jackie!" commented one fan, while another wrote, "Happy birthday mama Jackieee 🎁🎊🎈🎂🎉 have a wonderful day and enjoy your self."
One person noted that Jackie bears a strong resemblance to Ciara's daughter, Sienna. "Sienna got her looks from your mom I see," they wrote. Another agreed, writing, "Happy birthday!! And Sienna has your entire face lol ❤️."
Meanwhile, a different fan thought Ciara got her looks from Jackie. "You look just like your mama, girl," they pointed out, while another wrote, "Wow, that's your twin! She's beautiful 😍 happy birthday Mommy."
Some of Ciara's famous friends also chimed in. "Happy bday mom❤️❤️ love u!!!" said LaLa Anthony, while Big Freedia wrote, "Happy birthday to moms ❤️❤️❤️."
