Last year, one of my friends took a group of us to the Steve Cohen Chamber Magic show at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel for her Christmas party, and we've decided to make it a tradition. Between the gorgeous Beaux Arts salon, the intimate crowd, and the strict cocktail attire dress code, it harkens to a bygone era when New York's elite would invite magicians into their parlors to entertain their friends. Each trick involves the audience—and you will believe in magic by the end of the night. Plus, the entire Palace Hotel is decked out in holiday decor, with its own towering version of the Rockefeller tree in the courtyard. —Jessica Puckett
