If you’re looking for a part-time job over Christmas, this might be the one for you.

We spend most of our weekends tasting mulled wine for free, anyway, so we might as well get paid £50 per hour for it.

You could earn money for visiting Christmas markets in England, Wales and Scotland and giving an honest, fair review of your experience.

Online exhibition platform ExpoCart.com is the company heading up this search and we imagine its recruitment team will be receiving more CVs than the average seasonal job.

If you’ve been looking forward to Christmas since September and your Christmas tree is already glittering in your window, then this is the job for you.

Christmas-mad jobseekers will need to be able to visit 10 markets between 6-24 December. They span from Scotland to Wales, so if you’ve got the time, it’s a great opportunity to travel to some new places.

All travel expenses will be paid for and you can take a friend with you if you fancy, too.

There’s not even much of a catch to this job offer. You just need to be over 18-years-old, carry a full UK driver’s license and be able to recite the whole of Love Actually at the drop of a hat.

The last one is optional, but a good life skill nonetheless.

Not only will you be paid to attend each Christmas market for an hour, you’ll also get spending money to enjoy it while you’re there.

If you do decide to make an overnight stay of it, that’ll come out of your own money, though. Fair enough, we suppose.

As it requires somebody who is able to attend up to three Christmas markets a week, it’s the perfect job opportunity for a student looking for a bit of extra cash or perhaps a retired couple looking to travel the UK at the most magical time of the year.

The application is only open for one week and the judging committee will hope to pick the best person next week. After all, it won’t be long before you have to go on your first market visit.

“Christmas markets are one of the most popular attractions in the country, with thousands of people visiting them every day throughout the festive period.” Jasmine Eilfield, co-founder and CPO of ExpoCart, said

“So, with our upcoming expansion into the consumer markets and fairs sector, we decided to take advantage of all of the fairs currently running, and do some market research of our own.”

“Obviously we know this is a dream job for a lot of people, so we’re expecting a lot of applications. We’re excited to pick our Christmas Fair Tester and get them enjoying all of the Christmas fairs the UK has to offer!”

Happy applying!
