Christmas Comes Early: Henry Golding & Emilia Clarke Sign on to Star in New Holiday Movie

Henry Golding’s new motto? Another day, another opportunity to star opposite a beloved leading lady.

After making a splash in his breakout roles in Crazy Rich Asians and A Simple Favor, in which he played the love interest of Constance Wu (Rachel) and Blake Lively (Emily), respectively, Golding just signed on to star in Last Christmas with Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke. (Is he just the luckiest, or what?)

Not a ton is known about the forthcoming film, but according to The Hollywood Reporter it’s a “holiday romance set in London.” Khaleesi and the Prince Harry of Asia? We’re into it.

Written by Emma Thompson (yes, that Emma Thompson) and Bryony Kimmings, this marks Golding’s second film with director Paul Feig (A Simple Favor) and Clarke’s first.

Sorry, in-laws. We’re spending next holiday season with Henry Golding and Emilia Clarke.
