Christina Haack Was Noticeably Absent From Ex Tarek El Moussa's Wedding to Heather Rae Young This Weekend
After a nearly year-long engagement, Heather Rae Young and Tarek El Moussa have officially tied the knot! The couple wed in front of friends, family, and cast members in a lavish ceremony in Santa Barbara, California. But although the newly-minted El Moussas maintain a good relationship with Christina Haack—with whom El Moussa shares son Brayden and daughter Taylor—she was not present at the wedding.
Young confirmed last year during an episode of PeopleTV's Reality Check that, while she and Haack have an impressively cordial relationship, even texting about recipes—Haack was not invited to the couples' nuptials. "We have a civil relationship for the kids and that's where it ends," says Young. "I don't think I would like to have his ex at my wedding," she adds.
With Brayden and Taylor involved in the wedding, Haack enjoyed a cozy weekend at home with fiancé and real estate agent Joshua Hall. In what appeared to be a low-key weekend for the couple, Haack shared snapshots of the duo through photos and videos posted to her Instagram story. They spent the last several days together at Haack's home in Tennessee, which she purchased last year, cozying up by the fire, doing housework, and even having a little fun with a few rounds of beer pong. On Sunday evening, Haack also posted a photo of the pair at a Halloween event.
The Flip or Flop star announced her engagement to Hall just last month. While there's no word yet on a date, one thing is for sure: we probably won't be seeing the El Moussas at that wedding...
