Christina Aguilera delights fans as she styles hair to recreate iconic album cover
Next year marks two decades since the release of Christina Aguilera's Stripped album, which featured the timeless hits Fighter, Beautiful and Dirrty.
The singer, 40, has appeared to pay tribute to the 2002 record's iconic album cover by recreating the same daring pose with her long blonde hair.
Since being shared on Instagram, the post – to promote an upcoming appearance at the festival LadyLand – has received more than 550,000 'likes'.
Many fans pointed out that the topless picture, in which she wears blue jeans and stands in front of a dressing table, seemed rather familiar.
One wrote: "I’m getting Stripped album cover vibes."
Another commented: "SCREAMING AT THE STRIPPED COVER POSE!"
A third shared: "Stripped cover flashback."
Dozens also left 'fire' emojis, and revealed their excitement for her forthcoming show.
Since being released, Stripped has sold over ten million copies globally and is one of the best selling albums of all time.
The eye-catching outfits Aguilera wore at the time, including halter-neck tops and cut-out leather, have gone down in fashion history.
Recently, in a post on Instagram, she also marked 22 years since her debut, self-titled album – which included Genie In A Bottle – came out.
The star is now mother to 13-year-old son Max, from her former marriage to Jordan Bratman, and seven-year-old daughter Summer, who she shares with current partner Matthew Rutler.
Last month, Aguilera shared a very rare photo of her youngest child to mark her birthday.
Captioning a sweet Instagram image of the pair, she wrote: "Happy 7th birthday my sweet, thoughtful, funny, creative, soulful, vibrant spirit.
"Time moves too fast but every year I’m so in awe of the beautiful human you are and continue to grow to be!
"You are so loved by all around you and inspire us to see the world brighter because of you and the special energy you radiate! Mommy loves you so much!"
