Christie Brinkley has been soaking up her (socially distant) summer on the beach. In addition to plenty of time in the garden, boat rides with family, and quarantine haircuts, the model has been keeping up with her fitness routine at 66.

On Saturday, Brinkley shared a series of photos to Instagram wearing a bikini, cover-up, and sun hat. She confidently showed off her legs, and let her fans know how she’s been keeping them in tip-top shape: “Just STRETCHING my legs at the beach after my workout on my @totalgymdirect, the best at-home fitness equipment for over 20 years!” she wrote in the caption.

Brinkley has shared her love for the Total Gym before (FYI, she’s a spokesperson for the brand). In April, she posted a leg workout to Instagram to show off everything it can do.

In the video, Brinkley begins with leg lifts, and then switches to alternating single leg lifts. Then, she takes her workout to the next level with jump squats using the machine. Calf raises are next, followed by wide-leg squats to target her inner thighs. After the leg series, she focused on her arms, abs, and back.

“I know If I don’t get the exercise I need, I really feel it! My body just instantly rusts! Gotta grease the joints ...so in order to avoid having to have the couch surgically removed from my derrière, I decided to drag my Total Gym out into the sunshine to get both vitamin D and some much needed exercise,” she wrote in the caption. “Quarantine is to keep us safe so I’m going to try use my time to hopefully come out of quarantine a little stronger.”

The Total Gym isn’t the only way Brinkley sweats, though. In July, she told Extra that she’s been keeping her body moving this summer by tending to her “Victory Garden.”

“Gardening is a lot of work,” she explained to the outlet. The mom of three also said she’s been going on walks or runs with her kids, who have been spending time with her in The Hamptons. “We’ll take the boat to a deserted beach and we’ll do speed walks or running,” she said. Clearly, this routine is working well for her!
