Historically speaking, Chrissy Teigen's hair usually falls between long-ish and long. Recently, it's been what we'd call decidedly long-ish; when she attended the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner a little over a week ago, she was sporting a voluminous, middle-parted lob that extended just past her shoulders. But the disco-themed party she attended over the weekend clearly called for the longest hair we've ever seen her wear.

"I would have either despised the 70s (dancing/sequins) or flourished (drugs/jello molds) I can’t decide…" Teigen wrote in the caption of one of several posts showing off her incredible look for the event. Her hair is suddenly not just inches longer but feet longer, reaching well past her waist. The sleek style was topped off with the prettiest, drapey crystal headpiece.

Teigen thanked extension expert Rikke Gajda for contributing to her Studio 54-perfect look, and Gajda posted a behind-the-scenes reel of how the hairstyle came to be. She's seen selecting an extra-long swath of blonde hair from a wall, followed by matching the color perfectly to Chrissy's current hue (a warm, light brown that's relatively new after a brief auburn phase).

We would be remiss to not mention how fabulous Teigen's makeup looks, too — especially her super-glitzy eye makeup that picks up on the sparkle of her outfit. Makeup artist Diane Buzzetta made it stand out even more with a cut crease.

The look may be inspired by the ‘70s, but it's so good that no one would object to it becoming a 2023 trend.
