Chrissy Teigen's New Back Tattoo Is A Sweet And Subtle Tribute To Husband John Legend

From Women's Health

  • Chrissy Teigen just revealed she got a new back tattoo, which says "Ooh Laa."

  • It's a cute nod to husband John Legend's song of the same name, which he wrote for Chrissy.

  • The model worked with tattoo artist Winterstone, who has tattooed her previously.

In case you missed it, John Legend released a sexy song last year called "Ooh Laa" that was an homage to his wife, Chrissy Teigen. And now, the model and cookbook author just revealed that she has a new tattoo that's a nod to the song in an Instagram video.

"Ooooooooh la shoowap shoowap @winterstone," she wrote in the caption. In the video, celebrity tattoo artist Winter Stone first looks at different scripts that spell out "Oooh Laaaa," before applying a stamp down Chrissy’s spine. "Oh my god, cool!" John can be heard in the background, as a topless Chrissy checks it out in a mirror.

Then, Chrissy lays down so Winter can get to work. "Tell everyone about the first time you heard this song," John says to Chrissy. Her response: "I don’t remember." John then gives her a sultry look and says, "I remember. It was in our bedroom… We had to test run it, make sure it worked." He then kinda smirks and says, "It worked… It was a good conversation starter."

Winter starts inking the script onto Chrissy’s back as John sweetly rubs her hand. Finally, there’s a shot of the two kissing, followed by a hilarious cut of them dancing with a toy llama.

Winter also shared a pic on Instagram of the end result, and it looks seriously cool:

"OOOOH LAAAA @chrissyteigen @johnlegend what a blessing to honor Chrissy with this ooh laa tattoo down her spine! John wrote this sexy song for her so naturally she should have it tattooed on her right?!!!" he captioned his post.

This isn’t the only tattoo Chrissy has received from Winter. She shared back in October 2019 that he inked the birthdates of her family members on her arm.

Chrissy came under fire for that tat, after some fans pointed out that it looked similar to the way Jewish people were forcibly tattooed during the Holocaust.

But people were all about Chrissy’s latest tattoo. "We all just tryna live that John and Chrissy love. 😩😭," one fan wrote in the comments of her new post. "Can’t love this enough," another said. "Shot of him holding your hand gave me chills!"

BRB: Gotta go listen to "Ooh Laa" again...
