Chrissy Teigen Posts Loving Tributes to Her Late Son, Jack: ‘Today Was Your Due Date’

Chrissy Teigen is keeping her son Jack's memory alive on what would have been his due date.

On February 20, the Cravings author and entrepreneur posted an image on Instagram stories of three bracelets, each featuring the names of her children: Luna, 4, Miles, 2, and their late baby Jack. “Today was your due date. we love you forever 💜,” she wrote.

Back in September, Teigen and John Legend announced the loss of their third child due to pregnancy complications.

The model also shared a new tribute to Jack on her grid, writing, “Can smile all day but thinking of you on your due date, bug.”

Chrissy Teigen has been sharing her grief since September 30, when she announced the pregnancy loss by sharing heartbreaking photos taken at the hospital. “Looking at those pictures now, it seems like so long ago,” she told Ellen DeGeneres earlier this month. “Of course, everything was such a blur. Even thinking back to it now, I am still in therapy about it, and I’m still coming to terms with it.”

Teigen did reveal that “constant reminders” still make it difficult to move on, especially as she approached his due date. “I have maternity clothes, and there are things that I bought for my eighth month and my ninth month,” Teigen continued. However, she also described the mourning process as a “transformative” experience that she feels made her a “better person.”

“Being Thai and being raised in a house that was very open about loss, I think it was really helpful because I see it as—it can be a beautiful thing,” she said. “It was a really transformative thing for me, and in a way, it really saved me, because I don’t think that I would’ve discovered therapy and then sobriety and this path of feeling good about myself and feeling like a new person.”
