Chrissy Teigen debuts vibrant pumpkin-spice hair colour at Oscars afterparty

Ain't no better way to 'spice up your life!' than with a dramatic hair transformation. But don't just take my word for it – just see Chrissy Teigen's new look channeling her inner Geri Halliwell. Sing it with me: "when two become one..."
It all began with a recent Instagram post, in which Chrissy initially debuted a new hair look. In the video, she revealed that her long ash brunette locks are no more and instead, she's had her hair dyed a true 'brick red' tone by celebrity hair colourist, Matt Rez. Her hair was completed with lighter money-piece strands to frame the face.
In the caption, she wrote: "breaking news: woman gets new hair color !!!!!!!!!". Breaking news, indeed.
But the transformation didn't stop there. The star has taken her IG feed once again with yet another video teasing another colour change. In the caption, she wrote: "pushing it a little more with @colorbymattrez!".
Intrigued as to what the results are? Well, it didn't take long for the mum-of-three to reveal all as, alongside Michelle Williams' hair transformation, Chrissy debuted her new look at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Although not as eye-catching as say, Kourtney Kardashian's peroxide blonde bob or Hilary Duff's short boxy chop, Chrissy's strands have certainly undergone a much-appreciated refresh for the upcoming spring season.
I mean, just take a look at the before:
Not only had she had her lengths dyed, but Chrissy has also removed her extra long extensions for a lob (aka, a long bob) cut. This, as well as the colour, ofc, is very reminiscent of Geri Halliwell – aka Ginger Spice's – gingerbread hair circa mid-90s. See a snap of the reminiscent peak Spice Girls era look below:

Oh, and we all need to take a mo' to acknowledge husband John Legend's reaction to her new look. Taking to the comments section, he wrote: "Gorgeous 😍".
