It's the great conundrum of our times: the almighty Rotten Tomatoes score. Do we care if a movie has a stinky, puke-colored splatter next to it? Yes, no, kinda, maybe?

Well, we're here today to report the opinion of one man: Chris Pratt. His new series, Amazon's The Terminal List, sports a 94 percent score from audiences (wee!), but a 40 percent from critics (boo!). The critics consensus reads, "While Chris Pratt fully commits himself to the The Terminal List's mission, this thriller's unrelenting gruffness is no meat and all potatoes." No meat and all potatoes? The horror. Now, Pratt has emerged to remind you all that The Terminal List is doing really, really well. First, Pratt took to his Instagram, to repost a story with a (rather long) headline from The Daily Mail: "The new Yellowstone: Chris Pratt's new Navy thriller The Terminal List defies woke critics' scathing reviews to shoot up ratings chart with 1.6 BILLION minutes of streams."

Then, Pratt posted a meme of Dr. Evil with the caption, "one point six BILLLLLLLLLLION minutes," referencing the headline, which comes from Nielsen's report detailing how The Terminal List is climbing the streaming charts. Finally, our journey to the center of Chris Pratt's Instagram whims finishes, for now, with a repost of a story from Jack Carr, who wrote The Terminal List, the books the Amazon series is based on. It reads, "We didn't make THE TERMINAL LIST for critics. We made it for those in the arena. Find the article in the link below," linking to The Daily Mail story.

Listen, we're happy that the show's doing well! It's just a little strange that Pratt and co. are playing a little bit of whack-the-critic amidst The Terminal List's success. If something is good, people will find it. But no one's immune to some healthy criticism, not even Mr. Chris Pratt Mario Garfield.
