Chris Harrison Felt “Sick” Watching Barb Drag Madison During ‘The Bachelor’ Finale
Watching Peter Weber’s mom go after Madison Prewett on live TV made host Chris Harrison feel “sick.”
He didn’t know viewers could see Barb’s shady expressions during the whole show.
Chris Harrison has been chatting up a storm lately, and he just came through with some major info about The Bachelor finale. You know, the one in which Peter Weber’s mom, Barb, absolutely dragged Madison Prewett as Madison sat there and let her get everything off her chest on live TV?
Well, apparently, Madison wasn’t the only one who felt awful in the moment. Chris didn’t say he cried like Madison did after the finale, but he did feel “sick” listening to Barb attack her.
First off, Chris said that in his defense, he didn’t know Barb’s shady facial expressions were being shown in a little box on everyone’s TV as the episode aired. So when he started talking to Barb, he had no idea that she’d be so opposed to seeing Madison on the stage next to Peter.
Chris recalled, “And I went to Barb thinking, ‘This will be sweet. Maybe Barb will just say, ‘Look, we don’t love this, but it’s my son so we’re just going to give this a shot.’” Obviously, that’s not what happened, and Barb said she didn’t think Peter and Madison's relationship would last.
Talking to the Sirius XM hosts, Chris added, “Holy cow. She brought out a water cannon and just beat Madison on live TV. My jaw dropped. I did not see that coming. She just tore the poor girl apart, and I didn’t know what to do.”
And even though that whole scene was “good TV,” as he put it, Chris said, “I actually felt sick to my stomach. I felt really bad that this poor girl was getting taken apart like that on live TV because what is she supposed to do? And what’s Peter supposed to do?”
Well, all that’s in the past now because Peter is dating Kelley Flanagan, and lucky for them Barb is a Kelley fan, so there shouldn’t be any drama there.
