Chris Hardwick visits iconic 'Back to the Future' locations in DeLorean

On Jay Leno's Garage, Jay Leno visited Back to the Future superfan Chris Hardwick. And he didn't show up in just any old car, he brought a DeLorean time machine replica. The car is valued at $750,000. Hardwick was waiting for Leno at the Gamble House in Pasadena, California. This was the same house that the character Doc lived in. And when Leno pulled up in the movie car replica, Hardwick completely freaked out. Harwick admitted that he likes the film for the lessons it taught him. He said, "It teaches you very important lessons, like don't have sex with your mom, no matter how drunk she tries to get you. And then also always meet an old man in a mall parking lot at 1:00 A.M." Hardwick got a tour of the car and even drove it, but he was most excited to do one thing. Hardwick asked, "I would kind of love to see if this baby can get up to 88." Happy to oblige, Leno took Hardwick to the best place to drive a time machine 88 miles an hour, the famous Twin Pines Mall. While there, Hardwick was able to let loose and drive Back to the Future. Jay Leno’s Garage airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on CNBC.
