Today’s #yahoofoodcakeoftheday comes from P.S. Paritha, but “people call me Pang,” she says. Pang was born in Thailand but now lives in San Francisco, where she develops and photographs tasty recipes on her blog Circa Happy and creates beautiful flower arrangements on her other blog, Doing So. In other words, she’s pretty busy.
But back to the cake! Pang layers this chocolate cake with a caramel buttercream frosting and then chills it in the fridge. Once the base is cold, the dark chocolate Pang drizzles on top adheres better. For some extra crunch, she garnishes the whole thing with caramel popcorn.
