Chloe Kim Posed With Her Dog on the Cover of "Sports Illustrated"

The 2018 Winter Olympics may be over for Chloe Kim, but she continues to slay off the slopes. On Tuesday, America's coolest 17-year-old was featured on what might be the best cover of Sports Illustrated ever. Naturally, it features her in full snowboarding regalia posing with her gold medal. Chloe, however, isn't the one wearing it. Instead, the gold is draped around the neck of Reese, pupper and eternal Chloe Kim devotee.

Reese is Chloe's miniature Australian shepherd with a social media presence almost as great as the Olympian's. In the year since Chloe first got her, Reese has already racked up more than 3,000 followers on Instagram. Her profile is filled with videos of her getting belly rubs, playing with toys, and generally being adorable. While Chloe was in Pyeongchang tweeting about ice cream in between qualifying runs, Reese was apparently waiting patiently at home for her favorite human.

"Congrats Mama! Hurry back home so I can give you kisseys and bring you your sticks back!" read the caption of a throwback pic featuring Chloe and Reese playing fetch.

In addition to deserving a gold medal for her stick-retrieving prowess, Reese is also really good at modeling. On the cover, she's photographed with Chloe wearing matching smiles, and in an outtake on Sports Illustrated's website, she can be seen posing on her hind legs with the most photogenic doggie smile ever. She did so well, in fact, that Chloe gave her a shoutout on Instagram.

"THANK YOU @sportsillustrated and @reesetheminiaussie for staying still and being a good girl 😂," wrote Chloe in a post featuring the cover. "So excited to share this with you guys! @sifullframe @shoot802"
