Chip and Joanna Gaines got the name 'Magnolia' from one of their first dates

"Fixer Upper" fans, get your tissues ready, because the series finale is going to be emotional in more than one way.

In addition to the being the last-ever episode, which is sad enough as it is, a teaser trailer hints that some sweet family secrets will be revealed on Tuesday night. In the clip, Chip shares with his four children how he and wife Joanna came up with the name "Magnolia" for their company.

“You know what’s interesting about a magnolia tree?” he muses as the kids help him on a mini construction project. “One of mama and I’s first dates, I climbed up a magnolia tree and I pulled her off a magnolia bloom and I gave it to her.”

Too cute! The gentlemanly move certainly worked -- the couple wed in 2003, and they're currently expecting their fifth child.

Chip and Jo had never before revealed that exact personal connection to magnolia trees, only giving more vague explanations of why they're tied into the company.

"It’s basically become our mascot,” Chip has said. “So every project we do, we love to plant a magnolia gem.”

The final episode ofFixer Upper airs Tuesday, April 3 at 9:00 p.m. EST on HGTV.
