Childish Gambino Lives in a Neighborhood Full of Animated Hip-Hop Stars in "Feels Like Summer"

Summer is about as officially over as it gets, which makes it all the more poignant that we just now got a video for "Feels Like Summer," one of the latest songs from Childish Gambino, the musical alter ego of the perennially stylish Donald Glover. The song dropped earlier this summer (along with "Summertime Magic") and while crowning the "song of the summer" is a never-ending quest, "Feels Like Summer" has a dreamy, intoxicating feeling that seems to perfectly capture the surreal transition between the seasons.

In beautifully stylized and saturated animation, Glover walks through a neighborhood filled with other rappers and musicians in mundane situations, from The Weeknd in a tug-of-war with Solange, Janelle Monae and SZA on skateboards, Travis Scott knocking over a block castle Nicki Minaj is building, Azealia Banks in a tree by herself, and what definitely looks like Pusha-T stealing Drake's bike. The most eye-widening moment in the video is the sudden appearance of a tearful Kanye West in a "Make America Great Again" hat, being comforted by a hug from Michelle Obama.
