Chick-fil-A reveals most-ordered menu items in 2018
Arguably, some of the best chicken in the fast food game is at Chick-fil-A. It's crispy, buttery, and just downright delicious. But surprisingly, it wasn't even the chain's best selling item in 2018.
Everyone has their favorites, and according to Chick-fil-A, this year their most-ordered item was the waffle fries. The fries are tossed with canola oil and sea salt and come as a side in most combo meals.
In second comes soda (or pop for those in the Midwest and Coke for those in the South). Chick-fil-A serves Coca-Cola products and has since its opening in 1946. In fact, Truett Cathy, the founder of Chick-fil-A's first job as an 8-year-old was selling chilled Cokes from his front yard.
While we can imagine that a side of fries and soft drinks are at the top of most fast food chain's most-popular orders — no matter what entrée you order, you usually get both. However, coming in third are the chicken nuggets, beating out the classic chicken sandwich and the chicken strips!
