Chevy reveals hybrid Corvette. The 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray. is an all-wheel drive hybrid model. It has a mid-mounted LT2 V8 engine and an electric motor in the front. The V8 powers the rear wheels with 495 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. The electric motor makes 160 hp and 125 lb-ft of torque and powers the front wheels. Combined, output is 655 hp, just shy of the ZO6. Chevy estimates that E-Ray will get to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, 0.1 second faster than the Z06. It has a Stealth Mode that lets the car start up silently, and the car can run fully electric up to 45 mph.
