Cheryl Burke Debuts “2023 Mood” After Her Ex-Husband Matthew Lawrence Goes Public With Chilli

Hey, hi, a lot happening here so please buckle up. A couple days ago, Matthew Lawrence and TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas went ahead and confirmed those relationship rumors with an extremely cute video of them recreating A-ha’s iconic “Take On Me” video:

Meanwhile, Chilli’s rep confirmed to People that the new couple spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas together, and they’re fully obsessed with each other. As the rep put it: “I’ve been with Chilli since 2005 and I’ve never seen her this in love. She is glowing. They are really cute together.”

Truer! Words! However, Matthew is fresh off a divorce from Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke. And just days after Matthew and Chilli went official, Cheryl went ahead and dropped a TikTok declaring her 2023 “mood,” which everyone is naturally reading into.

Basically, what we have here is Cheryl putting on perfume and fixing her hair to the sound of David Guetta and Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Good.” She captioned the footage with “Mood going into 2023.”

Oh, and she also, uh...went ahead and posted herself singing, “Dontcha wish your girlfriend was hot like me” with the on-video caption “To anyone who has been dumped for someone else...”:

Reminder: Cheryl and Matthew finalized their divorce about three months ago, after three years of marriage. But Cheryl filed for divorce all the way back in February, so they’ve been over for a while now.

At the time of the divorce filing, Cheryl told fans, “I know I have always said I’m an open book with you guys, I do strive to be, and in writing this, I’ve realized there really isn’t an easy way to announce that my marriage is ending. I hope you can understand that I will not be commenting any further at this time and am asking for understanding and privacy. Thank you all for all the kind words and support you’ve given me.”

And quick reminder that back in August, she called out an unnamed ex for cheating on her, writing in overlayed text on TikTok, “When he said he would never talk to her again yet I found text messages, Viagra, and a necklace hidden in a pair of his shoes...”
