Chase Hudson, or more colloquially known as Lil Huddy, is easily one of the most recognizable social media personalities. He arrived on the TikTok scene at just 13 years old, during the app’s much more humble beginnings (when it was still Musical.ly), but quickly made a name for himself through his various lip-syncing videos, viral dance renditions, and eventually, his resident e-boy status. His first TikTok was posted in December 2015, and since then, Chase has accumulated more than 32 million followers. On Instagram, he’s garnered 12 million followers and on YouTube, roughly 2.2 million subscribers.
In December 2019, Chase and fellow TikTok influencers — Thomas Petrou, Daisy Keech, Kouvr Annon, and Alex Warren — founded the now famous Hype House. Similar to Jake Paul’s Team 10 and David Dobrik’s The Vlog Squad, Hype House is a collective of TikTok and YouTube personalities who live together in one house, collaborating and creating content all day. Previous members include Charli D’Amelio (Chase’s ex), Dixie D’Amelio, and Addison Rae.
In April 2021, the group announced that they were getting their own Netflix series, set to document their everyday lives in the house. Chase was given a consulting producer credit for the show and although it hasn’t been disclosed how much he earned for this role, most producers typically earn a cut of the net profits.
Aside from social media, Chase has pursued his dream of becoming a musician. He signed with Interscope Records’ imprint, Immersive, in January 2021. He quickly released his single, “21st Century Vampire,” then debuted his album, “Teenage Heartbreak,” in September 2021. His top songs have earned upwards of 10 million streams, and Spotify typically pays between $.003 and $.005 per stream. “21st Century Vampire” currently stands at 19,185,987 streams, which means that Chase likely earned around $55,000 from just that one song.
He also has his share of merch, which he sells through his website. Fans can purchase hoodies, t-shirts, and crewnecks that range in price from $25 to $70.
Chase most recently launched a Patreon account, posting on January 10 that he created the channel for “exclusive access to content and announcements on everything that is coming up” in his life. There are three membership levels to choose from: “LILHUDDY” for $3/month, “The Hudsons” for $8/month, and “Huddy Gang” for $15/month.
Obviously, there are many different sources of revenue for Lil Huddy and according to Celebrity Net Worth, he is now worth $3 million. But with his music career just starting out and his TikTok fame unlikely to fade anytime soon, we can only expect to see that number rise.
