Charlize Theron's Hairstylist Cut, Colored, and Styled Her Hair in Rapid Time for the Golden Globes

Unless you've been sleeping under a rock since 2019, you should know that the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards were Sunday night. Stars were shining, awards were given, and beauty looks were served. However, one look in particular stood out to many fans watching the awards — Charlize Theron's hair.

Theron, who is known for her roles in Snow White and the Huntsman and Mad Max, was one of the presenters of the evening and tasked with awarding Tom Hanks the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award. And while we loved the star's sweet words to the actor, we have to admit we had trouble focusing due to her brand-new cut and color.

Prior to taking the stage, the actor hit the red carpet with a fresh cut and color, giving new meaning to her famous platinum pixie. The man behind the close crop is the star's longtime stylist Adir Abergel, who took Theron's color from platinum blonde to more of a golden blonde in less than — wait for it — two hours.

Abergel shared the actor's newly blonde crop on his Instagram, with the caption: "Golden Globes goddess. Love collaborating with the most amazing team. We got to cut and color and style your hair in less than 2 hours. Love you @charlizeafrica."

Now, if you color your hair, especially if you're a blonde, you know how challenging and time-consuming the process can be. Personally, I have spent over three hours in a salon and didn't even get to attend an awards show afterward.

Fans seem to agree. One excited commenter said: "Wow wow! In 2 hours? Reminds me of Twiggy in the 60s absolutely flawless." Viewers loved Theron's new blonde style, and another commented, "This haircut and color!! Admiring it as I watch the Golden Globes."

One fan took major inspiration from Theron's short hair and wrote, "She's always hair goals. I'm cutting mine off this week." That, my friends, is what I call true fan loyalty.
