Charlize Theron Debuts a Radical New Short Cut on the Red Carpet

Bold red lips and a radical short bob are just a couple of the beauty tricks Charlize Theron has up her sleeve. For her latest act? The actress revealed a set of super short blunt bangs to accompany her oh so femme fatale look last night at the premiere of her film Long Shot in New York.

While the actress isn't afraid to take a risk (who could forget her closely cropped shave for Mad Max: Fury Road!) and recently traded in her platinum lengths for a brunette dye job, this recent change may not be quite so permanent. The art of one-night-only bangs is one well practiced by red carpet-goers everywhere, and this spring, the faux fringe has gained some serious momentum.

Makeup artist Gucci Westman completed the dramatic nature of the look, painting on a crimson red pout and giving Theron a set of sculpted cheekbones.
