Oh? Charli D'Amelio & Dixie D'Amelio have to be one of the cutest sister duos out there on the Internet, but it turns out that their relationship wasn't always the sweet, BFFs-forever sort of friendship that it is now.

The two TikTok-famous sisters, along with parents Marc and Heidi D'Amelio, recently appeared on The Drew Barrymore show to talk all things The D'Amelio Show and revealed that they actually "absolutely hated" each other throughout middle school. "[It was] so bad. We did not talk," added Charli. "Until we got into high school together, then we became best friends. [Charli] would come with me to every party on the weekend — it just happened out of nowhere," Dixie explained. "We [used to] go weeks without talking. But now I don't remember the last time we've actually argued over anything."

Charli and Dixie recently moved into their own apartment together in the Hollywood Hills. Even though they're no longer living with their parents, Marc and Heidi are just a short drive — like, a two-minute drive — away from their daughters.

"I've noticed the times where it gets the most annoying when we fight is when [our parents] chime in, and they're like, "what are you guys arguing about?" and we're like, "we were already over it 10 minutes ago!" laughed Charli, who is currently dating Travis Barker's son Landon Barker.

The sisters have come a long way from their days of hating each other. Charli took to Instagram to give Dixie a birthday shoutout, calling her "my sister my best friend my roommate the girl who taught me everything i know made me who i am." She wrote, "forever appreciative of how you helped me in my darkest times so glad i am the only person on earth that gets the right to call you my sister and forever grateful that i have you as my built in best friend for life i love you forever."
