Channing Tatum and Jessie J Are Reportedly Back Together

UPDATE: January 25, 2020, 2:52 p.m.: Channing Tatum and Jessie J are not only back together—they are red-carpet and Instagram official again. On Friday night the pair stepped out together in Los Angeles for a pre-Grammys event. After beaming together for photographers, Tatum took to Instagram to share his own black-and-white pic of his on-again girlfriend, captioning it, "Sculpture of magic."

That wasn't the only message the actor shared with his fans about the singer. Earlier in the evening he shared an intimate and silly pic of the pair snuggling up while sporting unicorn hats. "Gonna watch this unicorn sang tonight. Then we gonna get it in! Horns out!" he cheekily captioned the photo. Soon after the photo hit social media, the haters came pouring in, with one writing, "Jenna looks better with you,” referring to Tatum's ex-wife Jenna Dewan.

It didn't take long for the Magic Mike star to jump into the comments to defend Jessie J against the trolls.

“I don’t usually address sh*t like this. But you seem as good of a terrible happy people hating thoughtless person as any of them. Why don’t you seriously think about what you’re doing. It’s hurtful and I ain’t about it. If you can’t not be a horrible hateful person on my page and support the infinite and untouchable beauty and woman that Jess is… please kindly get TF out of here,” Tatum penned. “No one wants you here. Especially me.”

“And ain’t nobody more stunning and beautiful to look at but even more as a human than Jess,” he continued. “And yeah that includes my ex. Sorry about your opinion. But what I said is facts. Just facts. Ok bye be careful with your actions it’s what you create for yourself.”

Tatum quickly returned to the comments to clarify his sentiments, saying he didn't mean anything against his ex, and basically he would like to left out of this toxic narrative. (Tatum has since turned off the comments on his Instagram post.)

"And just to be super clear for the other people that love to turn shit around, Jenna is beautiful and amazing in her own right. But no and I mean no [sic] is more beautiful or better than anyone else," he wrote. "Beauty isn’t measurable. It’s in the eye of the beholder. So while all you infinitely beautiful people pour [sic] over these words and try and find s— to start s— wit. I’m gonna be enjoying my MF night with my gorgeous lady and cuddle up in her beautiful heart.”

The "Bang Bang" singer clearly appreciated Tatum shutting down the negativity. "My BABY! Horns OUT!" she responded, adding a devil emoji.

Well, that was quick. Stories broke about a month ago that Channing Tatum and singer Jessie J had split—and now they’re reportedly already back together.

The couple had been dating for just over a year when People confirmed the breakup in December. “There wasn’t any drama. They just decided to part ways and are still good friends,” a source said at the time.

And now, apparently, they’re back together. “They took a few weeks apart but ultimately decided they really care about each other,” a source tells E!. The source also said the two “seem very happy to be spending time together again.”

Channing Tatum and Jessie J’s relationship was his first high-profile one after splitting with his wife Jenna Dewan in 2018. Tatum and Jessie J appeared to make their relationship Instagram-official in November 2018, when Tatum posted from one of her concerts, writing, “This woman just poured her heart out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow.”

They endured some bumps early on in the relationship, like when fans started calling out the resemblance between Dewan and Jessie J. The singer clapped back with a powerfully worded post on Instagram. “There is a story I have seen be re-written over and over again in the past few weeks that talks about myself being compared directly to another beautiful woman regarding our looks and who people think is prettier,” she wrote, in part. “I am here to talk about the headline and the way the story has been written, I have continuously tried to find something positive from this article...I am yet to...We are all beautiful. We are enough just the way we are. Be the best you!!! You can’t wake up and be anyone but YOU. So please love your face, your body, your mind and your heart. Be good to yourself. Be good to those around you.”

Perhaps the fact that they didn’t delete their old posts about each other should have been our first clue that this breakup wouldn’t stick. Regardless, here’s hoping everyone is happy.
