Chan Wing Chun and Helen Ng star in drama before wedding
6 Mar – Veteran actor Chan Wing Chun is set to marry girlfriend Helen Ng this year, but before that, the two of them are starring in the new TVB drama, "The First Lady of Dangerous City" (working title).
As reported on Mingpao, the couple who appeared at the drama's costume-fitting press conference held in TVB City recently, shared that though they are working in the same drama, they will have no scenes together.
Chan will play the role of a shepherd, while Helen plays a Madame in charge of a brothel.
When asked about the progress of their upcoming wedding, Helen shared that they have yet to begin preparing for it.
Chan chimed, "We will register our marriage in April, and the wedding will be held in a church in Central on 10 July. We will hold a feast, but there will not be a special ceremony."
The couple said that the feast is more or less a gathering of a group of friends than an actual wedding banquet.
Aside from the aforementioned drama, Chan will also appear in another TVB series soon.
