CFDA Awards 2019: All of the celebrities that were there

Monday night, surrounded by art inside the Brooklyn Museum, the Council of Fashion Designers of America hosted its 2019 CFDA Awards, honoring the most influential people in the fashion industry.

Tom Ford presented Jennifer Lopez with the Style Icon Award (past recipients include Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé), while Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen received Accessory Designer of the Year for The Row.

The Olsens gave a short but sweet speech, meanwhile Womenswear Designer of the Year winner, Brandon Maxwell took his time on the stage with an emotional acceptance speech, visibly overwhelmed with happiness and nerves. The "Project Runway" judge joked that he would've laid off the open bar had he known he was going to win.

J.Lo accepted her award in a tropical orange two-piece set by Ralph Lauren. Her crystalized crop top and ball skirt featuring a long train showed off her perfect abs. The triple-threat walked the red carpet alongside fiancé Alex Rodriguez.

The biggest night in fashion brought out all the stars including Gigi Hadid, Heidi Klum and Lili Reinhart, while guests sipped on champagne by Perrier-Jouët. Emily Ratajakowski, Jenna Bush Hager and Lily Aldridge, Diane Kruger and Laura Harrier all opted for hues of red, while Ciara, Ashley Graham, Shailene Woodley and Bella Hadid took a not-so-basic approach to sleek black.
