On the Wednesday, May 10 episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, someone dear to Pat Sajak took over Vanna White's duties: his daughter, Maggie Sajak.

Maggie has been doing social media content for the show since 2021, but this time she appeared on the show. When she was presented at the episode's start, Pat quipped, "I think I'm gonna cry!" He added, "It's great to have you here, thanks for doing this."

If there's anyone who knows Wheel of Fortune as well as Pat and White, it's Maggie. The 28-year-old has been visiting the set and watching her dad since she was a tyke, so it's no surprise she aced filling in White's heels. Viewers were very impressed, praising her on social media.

Maggie expressed her gratitude for the opportunity on social media, saying it was an honor to fill in for White.

White still appeared on the episode, but this time as a contestant. During the episode, Pat joked to White, "You're over there usually, so I see you on my right and we've had this habit for 40 years, you stand on my right when you stand. I've never seen your left side, it's very nice! It's as nice as your right side!"

He asked, "Does it seem strange to see someone else at your puzzle board?," to which White responded, "It does, it does. But Maggie, thank you so much for filling in for me."

Jeopardy! hosts Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik competed against White, with all the winnings going to charity.

At the end of the episode, Pat asked Maggie if she had fun hosting. "So much fun!" she exclaimed. White also praised Maggie saying she "did a great job."
