Celebrity Makeup Artist Charlotte Tilbury Partners With Nordstrom to Launch Makeover Program ‘Project Confidence’

Celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Kate Moss and Kim Kardashian have been turning to makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury to make them over for runways, red carpets and magazine covers for years. She’s long been the master of glamour — as anyone who has indulged in an item from her luxe eponymous beauty line can attest. And now she’s partnering with Nordstrom to give women the opportunity to feel like one of Hollywood’s most glamorous ladies — thanks to their new program, “Project Confidence”.
After receiving thousands of applications for the program, Tilbury and Nordstrom flew mother-of-two Vanessa to N.Y.C. to get glam. See the results below.

“Project Confidence is all about empowering women to become the most beautiful versions of themselves,” Tilbury says. “I have understood the transformative power of makeup from the age of 13, and my whole career has been dedicated to teaching women how quick and easy it is to look and feel the best versions of themselves. If you look good, you feel good, and the whole world reacts to you in a different way!”

With a recent 70-pound weight loss and two young children at home, Vanessa seemed like the right choice for Tilbury, who was eager to make everyday makeup — and the added confidence it brings — a part of Vanessa’s life, even with very little time on her hands.

“Vanessa is so lovely. She is a beautiful mother of two from Texas. She is gorgeous but exhausted, and needs a little makeup magic in her life,” Tilbury shares about the reason she chose Vanessa for the program, adding, “I want to give her the tips and tricks she needs to look and feel refreshed, confident, youth-boosted and beautiful inside and out!”
And that’s exactly what Tilbury did. Once her N.Y.C. treatment was through, Vanessa said, “Charlotte is super funny and very sweet and compassionate and more importantly she really understands what women want to feel like and I think she’s got a good grasp on what makes us feel good in our own skin.”
For Vanessa’s look, Tilbury focused on making her look awake and radiant, turning to her brand’s Magic Cream to plump her skin, Mini Miracle Eye Wand to brighten her eyes and Brow Lift to open up her eyes, among other products.
