Producers of Celebrity Big Brother are planning to bring evicted contestants back into the house this weekend, according to reports.

The plan is to have the former housemates tell those still in the competition what’s been going on in the house, notably the controversy surrounding Roxanne Pallett’s accusations towards Ryan Thomas.

Pallett tearfully called Thomas a ‘woman beater’ following a brief play fight in the house, which resulted in Thomas receiving an official warning from producers.

However, Pallett was slated for the accusation, and later admitted that she had ‘got it wrong’, apologising to Thomas’s family and friends.

The incident resulted in more than 11,000 complaints from viewers to TV watchdog OfCom.

A source told The Sun: “Bosses are hoping to add some extra excitement to the last few days by bringing back some old faces to liven things up again.

“After a crazy few weeks, viewing figures have dipped and so they need a final push and this will do it.

“The housemates who have been on the outside world can shed light on the Roxanne Pallett situation and it will be incredible to see how they all react.

“There’s also some unfinished business between a few of them, so they can really air their dirty laundry before the final on Monday.”

It’s been one of the most controversial series of the show so far, with housemate Rodrigo Alves, known as the ‘human Ken Doll’ because of his extensive cosmetic surgery, being removed after using a racial slur.
