A rare happy couple in Hollywood, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are love's young-ish dream. They're engaged, with a one year old daughter, Daisy Dove, and regularly post adoring tributes to each other on Instagram.

But this week, Katy revealed that all is not entirely perfect in the seemingly enviable relationship. Speaking to Amanda Holden on radio show Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden, she admitted her fiancé's worst habit.

“He loves to floss, which thank God, ’cause some partners don’t and it is disgusting,” Perry, 37, said. “He has brilliant teeth, but he leaves the floss everywhere.”

And she really did mean everywhere. The singer went on to reveal that she regularly finds used dental floss “on the side of my bed and in the car and on the kitchen table” even though there are “bins everywhere.”

Amanda suggested she should 'train' Bloom to "do better", but Katy explained, “Yeah, well, I’ve done my best.”

Bloom is not alone in his lazy little habit. Even the leaders of the free world have their terrible domestic moments.

Michelle Obama once listed husband Barack Obama's bad habits, saying, "He doesn't put his worn socks in with the dirty clothes. He's worse than a five-year-old at making the bed. And after he eats, he doesn't put away the butter."

Giving a speech to an audience of women in Chicago, she added, "Today, he still didn't put the butter up after he made his breakfast. I was like, 'You're just asking for it, you know I'm giving a speech. Why don't you just put the butter up?"'

The untidiness clearly hasn't harmed their famously strong marriage, but the couple were praised for being open about the human side of their relationship.

Other famous types have been equally open about their less than appealing traits.

Jake Gyllenhaal, currently starring in Spiderman: Far From Home, recently admitted, "bad manners and bad breath get you nowhere. So I do that.

"But I do also think that there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves."

Do we though, Jake? He has several celebrity backers on the 'don't shower too often' bus - environmentalists Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard revealed that they only bathe their children when they smell.

"It’s not so much of a joke that I wait for the stink. That tells you when they need to bathe,” said The Good Place star.

And actors Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher agree, with Kutcher explaining:"Now here's the thing: If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there’s no point."

Even Twilight heart-throb Robert Pattinson has admitted to having gone around six weeks without a hair wash. "I don't know," he shrugged. "I don't really see the point in washing your hair."

Meanwhile, TV's chat show king Graham Norton admits to another horrible habit - nail biting. "There are things you get away with when you’re young, but when you’re nearing 60, you’ve got to get rid of them," said the entertainer, 58.

Revoltingly, when it comes to nails, Robbie Williams does something even worse, according to wife Ayda, who confessed to the Loose Women panel on TV that he likes to 'chew his toenails' (And we're very sorry if you're eating right now).

She explained that she'll demand, "Is that a nail in your mouth?” and he'll sheepishly admit that it is. Ew!

But as habits go, it's arguably not quite as nasty as smoking. Ed Sheeran admitted that he'd smoked for 'ten years' before going cold turkey at just 23. He explained to radio host Ryan Seacrest, "I decided to knock it on the head - I went cold turkey.

"I have a lot of friends who are very vocal about how they feel about it."

Perhaps the most unusual bad habit, though, belongs to Rihanna. According to Graham Norton when she appeared on his show, she has a habit of 'borrowing' wine glasses. He showed a hilarious montage of the singer leaving a series of parties and venues, still carrying her wine glass.

"That might have been one that I took to the club," she joked, adding, "I took that back to the hotel that I took it from" about a further shot.

Even Prince William has his little habits, it appears - and the man who will one day be King is seemingly notorious for eating on the sofa and dropping food.

When he joked "keep the pizza off the sofas!" during a meal on a visit to an army base, Kate commented, "oh, you’re a nightmare with that!"

Perhaps his kingly duties should include learning to use a paper serviette properly. We can only hope he doesn't bite his toenails.
