Celebrities are famous for always being on the go, yet they still seem to make working out and eating healthy a priority. Sure, they have plenty of help from assistants, trainers and private chefs, but taking care of yourself shouldn't be a privilege. If your busy schedule has you eating the stale birthday cake someone left in a conference room for lunch, put down your fork and consider trying celeb-approved Daily Harvest for fueling a healthy mind and body.

Daily Harvest makes healthy eating easy

Daily Harvest is a plant-based meal delivery service that makes healthy eating a breeze. The company creates frozen meals using only real, whole produce that you can prepare by adding water or plant-based "milk" and either blending or heating up in the microwave. Best-sellers include a Mint and Cacao Smoothie, Sweet Potato and Wild Rice Hash, Mulberry and Dragon Fruit Oat Bowl and Cauliflower and Leek Stew.

"Daily Harvest is the food you want to eat but don't have time to make," Christina Riggio, Daily Harvest's brand manager told In The Know.

The company was founded in 2015 by Rachel Drori after she found she was too busy to eat a balanced meal while working at a start-up. Since then, Serena Williams, Gwyneth Paltrow and Bobby Flay have invested in the company, and other celebs like Miranda Kerr, Karolina Kurkova and Jesse Tyler Furguson have posted their love on Instagram.

Here's exactly how it works

Getting Daily Harvest delivered is easier than your usual grocery run. Step one is choosing how many meals you'd like delivered (9 to 24 cups) and how often (weekly or monthly), then choose between their 65 chef-created options. You can choose meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack time! You can switch up your picks prior to each delivery and skip weeks if you want to—the plans are super flexible.

The meals will arrive frozen in portioned cups and should be kept frozen until you're ready to eat. To prepare, blend, soak or heat the ingredients according to the instructions on the side of the cup. All of the meals are easy to take on the go, but especially the smoothies, which have a hole in the lid for a straw of your choice.

The cost starts at $69.75 for a nine-cup delivery. That means that each cup costs $7.75, but the more meals you purchase, the cheaper they each get. A 24-cup box costs $167.76, making each meal cost $6.99 individually.

For a limited time, however, you can get $25 off of your first purchase using code ITK25. So, make it a goal to take care of yourself in 2020 by fueling your body with the nutrients it craves with easy, on-the-go meals from Daily Harvest.
