2022 was a big year of celebrity engagements. From Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck‘s long-awaited second proposal to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Riley Roberts’ sweet and low-key announcement, the past year was filled with romantic movie-worthy proposals and touching love stories.

Though 2023 has a lot to live up to, we’re a few days in and we already have some wedding bells ringing! On Jan 1, singer Sara Bareilles announced her engagement to Mare of Easttown star Joe Tippett. “It’s an easy, earned, relaxed YES,” she wrote on Instagram. We can’t wait for some love songs after this!

The day after, on Jan 2, Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts said she’s “saying ‘yes’ to marriage” with her longtime partner Amber Laign. Knowing they’ve been together since 2005, we’re excited for their next step together.

After dating for five years, DailyMail dropped the news that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are officially engaged! Apparently, Bezos popped the question when they were aboard his $500 million superyacht, and she immediately said yes!

Prison Break star Dominic Purcell and Tish Cyrus are engaged after nine months together! Cyrus revealed the news on her Instagram, saying, “A thousand times…. YES ❤️ @dominicpurcell.”

Bongiovi also posted two pictures of the two and captioned the post, “Forever 🤍.”

After four years together, Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo are officially engaged! Culpo shared the news with a series of gorgeous photos of the engagement happening, with the caption, “♾️4.2.23♾️.”

According to a source from Us Weekly, You star Lukas Gage is engaged to celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton. “They’re not telling the public yet, but they have told friends they are engaged,” the source told the outlet. “They got engaged before they even had rings and then went to pick them out together.” The two first went public with their romance in February.

Justin Long and Kate Bosworth are engaged and happier than ever! In a special guest appearance from Bosworth in Long’s podcast, Life is Short With Justin Long, the two confirmed the big news. “It was a moment where it just felt so organic and it felt connected to something very, very deeply, profoundly personal that we were going through, like, a real-life change, and so it came out in a very organic way,” Long said of the proposal

“Summertime Sadness” singer Lana Del Rey is reportedly engaged to music executive Evan Winiker, Billboard reports. Sources confirmed the news to the outlet on March 28 but the two have yet to confirm to the public.

Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro are headed to the altar! The couple shared their big news with the world in their new music video for their song “Beso.” At the end of the video, which is comprised of many adorable clips of the two traveling and having fun through the years, Rosalía shows off her new diamond ring and kisses her new fiancé. “I love you,” she says, in Spanish. So adorable!

Eva Amurri is officially going to tie the knot! The actress announced her engagement to chef Ian Hock on Feb 10 with a series of adorable pictures on Instagram. “Those who know us know so well what this moment means to us,” she wrote in the caption. “We are so so so happy. Can’t wait to spend all the rest of our days together.”

Hungarian model Barbara Palvin and her longtime boyfriend Dylan Sprouse, who have been together since 2018, said yes to spending their lives together! “Dylan and Barbara are engaged,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “They have been showing off her ring to people and are so happy. They’re always very in love with one another and by each other’s sides, but they’re even happier than usual. They can’t wait to start this new chapter together.” So sweet!

Tamar Braxton will be heading down the aisle! During the finale of her dating show Queens Court, Braxton accepted the proposal from Jeremy ‘JR’ Robinson. Even better, the show also included a fast-forward update to them six months after she said “yes” and the two are still together and planning for their wedding. Congrats to the happy couple!

Camera Operator George Bianchini and Christina Hendricks have been together since 2021 after working with each other on eht show Good Girls starting in 2018. Then on March 10, Henricks revealed the pair are engaged after proposing to each other. She shared the photo of them on Instagram with the caption, “We proposed to each other and we said yes!!! I will love and care for him forever. @steadig.”

Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola are engaged! The news, confirmed by People on Feb 27, comes over two years since they were first romantically linked in 2020. The pair met many years ago on the set of Mad Men in 2015.

Ramona Agruma and Rebel Wilson are officially engaged! On Feb 18, Wilson shared a snapshot of them together at Disneyland with the caption, “We said YES! 💗💗 Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring 💍 and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!”

Eminem’s 27-year-old daughter Hailie Jade Mathers is engaged to Evan McClintock. The podcast host and influencer posted the happy news to Instagram on Monday. “casual weekend recap… 😭💗 2.4.23 💍 i love you @evanmcclintock11,” she wrote in the caption, alongside a gallery of pictures of the two during the special moment.

Vanessa Hudgins and her MLB beau Cole Tucker are engaged, per TMZ! A few days before the news broke Hudgins posted a photo of the two beaming and dancing together, alongside the caption: “I’ll stop the world and melt with you ❤️🥰.”

Former The Bachelor contestant Hannah Ann Sluss said yes to Indianapolis Colts running back Jake Funk! Sluss announced the news in a sweet TikTok on Jan 25. In the video, the two enjoyed a romantic dinner before she panned to an image projected onto a rock that read “She said yes!” and then showed off her diamond ring.

The Bachelor‘s Nick Viall has given his final rose! On Jan 12, one of Bachelor nation’s most controversial figures Viall announced he’s engaged to model Natalie Joy. “For the rest of my life, it’s you,” they wrote in the caption of a joint Instagram post alongside beautiful pictures of them post-proposal. The pair was first linked in 2020 and went public with their romance in 2021.

She continued, “It was something we had talked about but we had put it off, she became ill but … it is saying yes to that, and that next chapter.” Roberts and Laign have been together since 2005.
