Here’s What Celebrities Are Cooking While Stuck at Home

Many celebrities’ reactions to the coronavirus pandemic have been uplifting. Stars left and right are announcing large donations to organizations that help those in need. Others are sending meals to kids who rely on public schools for food. They’re also urging fans via social media to practice social distancing and self-isolation to prevent the spread of the virus. That means no going out, no large group gatherings, and for many, cooking at home.

That last one is making for some A-plus social media content, which we all need right now. For celebs like Chrissy Teigen and Antoni Porowski, who are already in the food space, cooking posts are pretty standard. But it’s exciting to see some unexpected chefs, like Kylie Jenner, quarantine from the kitchen. I can’t with 100% certainty say the celebrities on the list below aren’t frequent cooks in their normal lives, but the coronavirus is at least making them post more mouthwatering pics and recipes. And for that, I’m eternally grateful.

Check out just a few celebrities turning to the Crock-Pot for coronavirus comfort:

Ed Helms

The Hangover star made his family a giant pot of chili while they’re hunkered down in their bunker.

Martha Stewart

Stewart is posting tips and recipes all over her Instagram. Go there now if you need inspiration, or just want to watch her make soda bread from scratch.

Ina Garten

If the Barefoot Contessa can eat waffles for dinner, then we all can.

Chelsea Peretti

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star has been cooking up a storm recently. I wish I had these home fries at my apartment right now.

Nick Kroll

The Big Mouth creator made himself a delicious but unexpected doomsday sandwich: bacon and peanut butter on an English muffin. I’m sold.

Jessie James Decker

When in crisis, pull a Jessie James Decker and make yourself some Puppy Chow (i.e., Chex cereal, chocolate chips, peanut butter, and powdered sugar).

Chrissy Teigen

Cheesy SunChips chicken? There’s no better time than right now to try a wacky recipe like this.

Antoni Porowski

The Queer Eye star dubbed this yummy omelet he made while in self-isolation a “Keep Calm-lette.” And honestly, just watching him prepare it soothed me.

Dan Levy

Another quarantine chili. Maybe make some and enjoy as you catch up on Schitt’s Creek.
