Cats Sit Around 'Gossiping Like Two Old Ladies' in Priceless Video

LOL. Have you ever wanted to get inside your cat's brain to find out what they're really thinking -- or potentially saying? One particular kitty duo is churning up major laughs based on the "conversation" they seem to be having with each other while checking out birds outside the window.

In this new TikTok video from @shanrance, we see these two felines chattering away, and it's the text on the clip that's truly making people laugh out loud. It reads, "They're like two old ladies watching and gossiping about the neighbors (in this case the neighbor is a bird). Get ready to crack up!

OMG! They're seriously like the cat versions of the Golden Girls, minus Rose and Sophia. (Personally, they're giving off Dorothy and Blanche vibes in my opinion.)

Whatever those birds were up to, these kitties certainly had a lot to say about it. Good thing there's a pane of glass in between them, right?

When it comes to why cats chirp and chatter, there are four different reasons for the behavior. First, they use it as a way of greeting their humans and saying hello. (Which is obviously not the case here.)

Second, it could potentially be due to a hunting instinct, which makes total sense! Believe it or not, the chirps are made to mimic the sounds of their prey. So maybe in this case, these kitties were talking to each other about the best plan to go in for the pounce? Odds are good.

Cats also chirp and/or chatter because they're feeling playful, or on the flip side, they're feeling stressed or agitated.

Of course, we can't truly know what they're thinking or why they make the noises they do, we can only have fun speculating.

One thing's for sure, we'd jump at the chance to see another gossip sesh between these two funny felines. There's never a dull moment when they're around!
