Being a cat owner means there is no such thing as sleeping in. You'll hear them running around the house at all hours of the night. Then, as soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m., they come meowing their way into bed with you because they're hungry. At least that's how it is in our house.
If you're one of the lucky few, you'll have a calm and sweet cat who won't annoy you during your beauty rest. You might not think such a cat exists, but thanks to a September 21 video from TikTok user @crampccats, we see it's possible. Just take a look at how this cat preciously greets Mom in the morning!
Be still our hearts! We can't handle this adorableness. The only time our cats' paws are up in the air is when they're trying to paw at our faces. LOL! Our cats probably do that to us because they're telling us to stop. It's not our fault we just want to smother them in our love! This cat on the other hand, or should we say on the other paw, was using her paws to give her mom the biggest good morning greeting ever.
To say we're jealous would be the understatement of the year. We wish our cats could be as affectionate as this sweet girl. The only time they ever show they love us is when they come over asking for food and treats, which is pretty typical for cats.
If you notice your cat being affectionate seemingly out of nowhere, then it could mean that this new behavior is accompanied by other behavioral changes. You'll want to check if there is a change in appetite, litter box habits, or restlessness as this could indicate emotional distress or physical illness.
