Catherine Zeta-Jones Wants to Make Her Black Velvet Robe a Thing

Seems as if most people who post selfies need to show off every new outfit of the day — whether celebrity, social media influencer, or any of us normals. The goal is obviously to grace your followers with your lovely self on display in every piece of the new and shiny in your fabulous life. Not Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The 47-year-old actress announced this weekend to her own social media followers how she’s about to embark on a new selfie style from now on, and one that fits her famous dark and lovely allure: a fancy, black robe.

“Get used to this robe folks! Had it for years and it’s becoming my selfie staple #SelfieSaturday,” the Welsh star declared.

This robe appears to be a black velvet number, blending perfectly with her famous black hair and dark eyes. And if we take her word for it, it’s one that has possibly shown up in her social feed at least once or twice before — though with lighting differences, it’s tough to make an exact call. Still, she looks fabulous in black.

While we cannot guarantee that any of these are the exact same as Zeta-Jones sports, we’re reasonably sure you’ll feel like a million bucks wearing anything like this on a Saturday.
