Catherine Zeta Jones Dazzles With Carly Simon Cover

The actress said it's her 'official Carly Simon appreciation day.'

Besides acting, Catherine Zeta-Jones also has incredible musical talents.

In a video shared on Instagram, she sang and played piano for her cover of the Carly Simon classic "Coming Around Again." The song was written for the 1986 Nora Ephron-penned film Heartburn, starring Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson.

"Today is my official Carly Simon appreciation day. Just because," she wrote in the caption.

Fans were amazed with the actress' rendition of the song, with one fan writing, "That was so very enjoyable… just loved it. Thank you."

"Literally crying. Your voice is the most beautiful," added another, as a third chimed in, "So amazing!! You are a real queen!! Wonderful collection, when i see your videos, my soul became warmer and brighter."

"Absolutely incredible," yet a fourth remarked.

Arrow star Kat McNamara, who starred in Broadway musical A Little Night Music alongside Zeta-Jones, also shared her love for her former co-star's talents.

"I have always loved listening to you sing... miss you so. x Your Fredrika," commented McNamara.

Though most of Zeta-Jones' roles haven't required for the actress to show off her pipes, she had the opportunity to sing in various films, including the screen adaptations of Broadway musicals Chicago and Rock of Ages.

Back in 2022, Zeta-Jones told Parade that if she wasn't an actress, she would be a musician. "I’d love to have a chance in my life to be that person on stage in a stadium during a concert. I’d be a cross between Carly Simon, Adele and Alicia Keys, just sitting at the piano and rocking out," she said.
